Ten Things to Do in September on Mallorca

In almost any part of Spain, September means the end of summer, but in Mallorca, this is not the case. The weather is still considerably summery, but temperatures are much more pleasant, with highs of 28 degrees and lows of 18 degrees. You can therefore continue to enjoy all the activities on offer on the island more comfortably, not only because of the reduced heat but also because of the smaller number of tourists. Mallorca is an island rich in natural paradises, with an enviable gastronomy and a capital full of impressive monuments. Here are ten things to see and do on the island in September:

Concerts at Bellver Castle

This 14th-century Gothic fortification, just three kilometres from the capital, is very famous and well-known for its peculiar architecture and rich history. However, few people are aware of the activities on offer. For some years now, the castle has become a key cultural attraction for music lovers, as during the summer months concerts are organized in accordance with the castle's century-long history. Tickets cost between 20 and 25 euros, and can sometimes go up to 40 euros: https://castelldebellver.palma.cat/en/.

Beaches and coves in Mallorca

Mallorca is synonymous with sea and sand. More than three hundred beaches and coves are spread along the coastline of an island rich in natural paradises. What's more, they are so varied that you can choose from an infinite number of landscapes, sizes, styles and locations. One of the main attractions of the programe is the parade of Moors and Christians that will culminate in the final battle: the Ball dels Escamots on Santa Ponsa Beach. In addition, there will be all kinds of activities for all audiences, such as children's parties, sports competitions, concert night and the famous medieval market.
