Location
The historic town of Pollenca is located in the north of the island, at the eastern end of the Tramuntana and is home to the famous Grand Staircase, which leads up 365 steps to Calvari Mountain.
The monastery complex of Sant Domingo is another historical attraction. Many hiking trails, roads and dirt roads around Pollenca attract many nature lovers to hike, walk and bike even in the cooler months. Framed by numerous beaches and bays, the area is a particularly attractive tourist destination.
Not far away is Port de Pollenca, an old fishing village with preserved flair, an international marina and beautiful sandy beaches with crystal clear water.
Pollenca and Alcudia are located in the north of Mallorca, only a few minutes by car from each other and about 45 minutes by car from Palma.
The historic old town of Alcudia with its completely preserved city walls are an attraction for young and old. The also world famous Alcanada Golf Course is located directly at the sea in the bay of Alcudia.
The Cap de Formentor is the northern tip of Mallorca and a popular destination.
