The traditional Mallorcan village of Es Capdellà with its typical townhouses, idyllic fincas and rural estates is located in the municipality of Calvià on the southern slope of Puig de sa Grua, 115 meters above sea level. Es Capdellà is connected 3 km away with the village of Calvià and with Puigpunyent via Galilea, with Andratx via Coll de n'Esteve and with Paguera between Moleta den Sov Vic and Puig des Revell. These three mountain roads are highly recommended for enjoying exceptional views of the Calvià and Andratx areas. The capital of the Balearic Islands, Palma de Mallorca can be easily reached by motorway in about 20 minutes. In less than 15 minutes you can reach the beaches of Puerto Portals and Palmanova. Also the many exclusive marinas such as "Puerto Portals" and the elegant marina "Port Adriano" designed by Philip Stark need only a short drive.
Calvia in the southwest of Mallorca. The municipality of Calvia is the largest municipality on the southwest coast of Mallorca in terms of area. The town that gives its name to the municipality of Calvia is home to the local administrative centre. The geographical location, south of the mountain range, gives this region milder temperatures in winter and significantly more sunshine hours. The municipality of Calvia is known for its seaside resorts such as Santa Ponsa, Palmanova, Magaluf and Portals and Illetas. To the west, Calvia borders on the municipality of Andratx.
