Placering
Cala d'Or is a port town on the southeast coast of Mallorca. It is known for its great marina at Cala Llonga, which offers a wide range of bars and restaurants. Founded in 1968, the natural harbor fits perfectly into the bay and offers very sheltered moorings. The port, which covers more than 35,000 m2, has 563 boat moorings. In the surrounding area there are numerous other bays lined with pine trees, such as Cala Gran. The well-known Robinson Club at Cala Serena is also not far away. To the southwest is the Mondragó Natural Park, a nature reserve since 1992.
Santanyí - In the southeast of Mallorca
The municipality of Santanyí in Mallorca is located in the traditional region of Migjorn and includes the towns of Cala d'Or, which is the most populated, Santanyí itself, the capital of the municipality, as well as Alquería Blanca, Calonge, Cala Figuera, Porto Petro, Cala Lombards, Cala Santañí, Cala Llombards, Son Móger, Cap d'es Moro and La Costa.
Santanyi is the biggest village in the area. Here you will find an art gallery or craft studio on almost every corner. If you are looking for extravagant decorative items, you are sure to find what you are looking for in one of the small stores. A wide selection of restaurants completes the offer. The region includes some coastal resorts and bays such as the picturesque bay of Cala Figuera, where a little inland and well protected today is still the old fishing village in a small natural harbor.
