Santanyi is a small town in the southeast of Mallorca that has retained its original Balearic charm to this day. The beaches are located four kilometers from the town center. At first glance, Santanyi is characterized by medieval and modern buildings made of golden Mares sandstone. The sandstone is quarried locally and gives the town an unmistakable appearance. Plaça Major is a place of visual contrast, where the green palm fronds sway gently in the wind against the sandstone façades and the azure blue sky.
